: Full Dress Rehearsal Sets Stage for Independence Day Celebrations in Rajouri

Rajouri News Udaan _A full dress rehearsal for the upcoming Independence Day celebrations was conducted today at the District Police Lines, Rajouri, with Assistant Commissioner Revenue (ACR) Mohd Jhangir Khan hoisting the National Flag and taking the salute at the ceremonial march past.
The parade featured contingents from the Police Band, CRPF, IRP, JKP, FPF, NCC, and various school squads. The ACR inspected the parade, reviewed the band drill, and expressed satisfaction over the arrangements made by different departments to ensure a smooth conduct of the national event.
Students captivated the audience with vibrant cultural performances depicting themes of patriotism, unity in diversity, traditional values, and social awareness. The presentations drew warm applause from spectators.
Addressing the gathering, ACR Khan underscored that true patriotism lies in understanding and fulfilling one’s responsibilities towards the nation. He urged students to perform with even greater zeal during the main function and called upon the public to ensure maximum participation on the day.
The programme was anchored by stage secretaries Sumit Bhargav and Prof. Iqbal Raina.
Prominent among those present were Additional SP Vikram Kumar, CEO Education Iqbal Hussain, DYSSO Wali Mohd, District Culture Officer Dr. Alam Dar, and Tehsildar Rajouri Varinder Sharma.
